The Keg is hands down the fanciest and most iconic steakhouse in Lethbridge, and this visit absolutely lived up to the hype. From the moment I sat at the bar, the experience was top-tier thanks to Blaze, who is truly one of the best bartenders I’ve ever met. Blaze is truly the best bartender ever. He was so genuine, kind, and incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing. His knowledge and recommendations were spot on and made the whole experience even better. You can tell he genuinely cares about his guests and takes pride in what he does. I had the jumbo shrimp cocktail, which was fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared—such a great start to the evening. Between the amazing food, the awesome atmosphere, and Blaze’s exceptional service, this was an unforgettable experience. If you’re visiting The Keg, do yourself a favor and sit at the bar—Blaze will take amazing care of you. I’ll absolutely be back.

Stop in at the Lethbridge Keg Restaurant location on a Thursday evening after work. This particular restaurant is well known by locals for its great service & consistently excellent food. I hadn't been here for about 4 months so the seasonal specials had changed. One of the new items is the Sea Bass so I decided to try that. Turns out that I made a great choice for an entree. My bartender was considerate enough to find me a lovely hot bread & butter starter then the dinner came out right on time. I generally order beef at this restaurant and salmon is the only other option I might consider. Well, this version of sea bass was a show stopper... Perfectly seasoned & cooked to perfection, it matched so nicely with the whipped butter potatoes. The service was first rate, the food was excellent and the hockey game was on as well. Fantastic night out!!! Bottom Line: 9.7 out of 10

5 stars all round . Only go to the Keg on special occasions. Food was absolutely amazing. Very busy , so glad we booked prior to our arrival. Ordered a humongous 24 oz steak that was cooked to perfection. Slightly concerned that I was given the choice of a Kansas or Alberta steak. Im sure the Kansas steak is just as nice but I work in the cattle industry. Keep it local. Tiny minor blemish on an unbelievably great dining experience. Will be back ! Wife and I paid $200 for a very very tasty 3 course meal.

I avoided this place as I thought it must be too expensive and only served mainly steak which I don’t eat. It was my birthday and my wife searched for a place that had a full lobster meal, not just the tail. We had a reservation and was seated well. Staff were wonderful and our server was a gem. We did not wait very long for our appetizer (lobster bisque was awesome). The meal was also not a long wait. I ate that whole lobster with ease and satisfaction. My wife ordered the lobster roll. As a side note, they have the BEST daiquiri in town. We were surprised at the bill which was lower than we expected. So for sure going back. They give you a free desert for your birthday too.

We went with a group of 11 for an anniversary celebration. We were sat In a quiet area which made conversation easy. We were assigned two staff which made taking orders, checking in, and food delivery very efficient. The food was enjoyed by all (2 kids meals, sandwhiches, and various steaks). The starter bread with butter was a tasty treat. We also got escargot and mushroom Neptune as starters which did not disappoint. The happy couple enjoyed their complimentary Billy Miners Pies.

Not the biggest steak fan whatsoever but The Keg had excellent service, a wide array of choices, and the other dishes (apart from the steaks) were very good!

Service was quick. Wonderful cuts of meat. Medium rare...just how I like it. Keep up the good work!

I’ve been coming to the keg for years and always ordering the same thing. We love it! It’s consistent, it’s clean, it’s delicious. I’m reviewing lower than normal because tonight, even though I paid $140 for the two of us to enjoy a delicious meal, I had to use my fingers inside a béarnaise sauce to pull the tails off of the shrimp. It’s never been that way, but I guess… After a staff meeting discussion, somebody decided that that was the better way to do things! Not the meal experience I was looking for or expecting. That’s actually pretty gross in my opinion and a very poor decision for a steakhouse to make their customers dig through the sauce
